Flying the Aermacchi S.211

The Aermacchi S.211 is the most modern military jet in our fleet and offers an exceptional visual experience from the rear seat. This Italian jet trainer flies more like a fighter than a basic trainer. It was recently developed into the similar-looking Aermacchi M-345, which had its first production flight in 2018. The Italian Air Force is replacing not only the MB-339 with this model but also the aircraft used by the legendary Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team. Both aircraft are compact two-seaters with a high-mounted wing design that gives them full aerobatic capability and excellent flying characteristics.
