What to wear for flying in a wind tunnel?
No special sports equipment is required for flying in a wind tunnel, as you will be given a jumpsuit, helmet, and protective goggles upon arrival. However, it is important to wear comfortable clothing underneath that does not restrict movement, such as a T-shirt with sweatpants or sports trousers. Clothes should be light and without large decorative elements that could interfere with the airflow.
Footwear should be sporty and comfortable, preferably sneakers that fasten securely with laces. Sandals, boots, or high-heeled shoes are not recommended. Hair should be tied back so it does not obstruct vision, and all jewelry or larger accessories must be removed before the flight.
Since some wind tunnels use outside air, it is advisable to dress a bit warmer, especially during the winter months, as the airflow in the tunnel can feel cooler. This way, you will be fully relaxed and ready for a safe and comfortable flying experience.
