How does your skydive work?
1. Preparation for the jump
We meet at the location at the agreed time, where the team welcomes you. You put on the appropriate sports equipment – jumpsuit, helmet, gloves, and goggles – and receive the harness system that securely attaches you to the tandem pilot. Preparation takes about 15 minutes and includes an explanation of the jump process: from boarding the plane, the correct body position during exit and freefall, to parachute control and safe landing. This is also the time to ask any questions you may have.
2. Plane ride
Next comes boarding the plane, where we strap in and the tandem pilot securely connects you to the harness system. The flight lasts 15–30 minutes, depending on the jump altitude. This is when the anticipation and adrenaline build, while you also enjoy views of the landscape as the pilot explains interesting details and ensures a relaxed atmosphere.
3. Jump from the plane
When we reach altitude, the highlight begins – the exit from the plane! We move toward the door, hear the rush of the wind, and then jump together. Freefall lasts 30 to 60 seconds, or up to 90 seconds from 6,000 meters. The speed reached is around 200 km/h or 50 m/s, but the feeling is not of falling, rather of floating, accompanied by an intense rush of adrenaline and complete freedom.
4. Parachute flight
At around 1,500 meters, the tandem pilot opens the parachute, the speed decreases, and freefall is replaced by calm gliding. In the quiet with a gentle breeze, a stunning view opens up, and the pilot may even hand you the steering lines so you can try controlling the parachute yourself. This part lasts 5 to 7 minutes and is the perfect contrast to the fast-paced freefall.
5. Landing
At around 300 meters, we prepare for landing, the pilot takes control again, and ensures the landing is soft and safe. On the ground, friends and family may be waiting, and you are filled with impressions and smiles. At the end, you receive a certificate of your jump, and if you wish, a video recording that will remind you of one of the most unforgettable moments of your life.
