Can I use my own camera or GoPro during the jump?

For tandem skydives, the use of your own camera or GoPro device is not permitted. The reason is safety – the participant must stay focused on the instructions and cooperation with the instructor, while extra equipment in the hands or on the helmet could interfere with the procedure and pose a risk. All equipment parts must be certified and attached in a way approved by the manufacturer, so personal devices are not suitable for such use.

Instead, there are special recording options provided by trained instructors or additional cameramen. Handheld cameras carried by the tandem instructor, or external cameras operated by another cameraman, allow for professional footage from different angles. This ensures that recording does not affect the jump, while you receive a high-quality video or photos of your experience.
