Can a passenger fall out of the tandem during a skydive?
One of the most common concerns for first-time skydivers is whether it is possible for the passenger to fall out of the tandem during the jump. The answer is clear – this is not possible. The entire harness system is designed to provide complete safety and a secure connection between the passenger and the tandem instructor.
Before the jump, the participant is attached to the instructor with a special certified safety harness that includes multiple attachment points. The straps are made from extremely durable materials, tested for high loads, and carefully inspected before every jump. Once you board the plane, the instructor connects you to the harness system and checks all the buckles, ensuring there is no possibility of the straps coming undone during the jump.
Even during freefall and parachute deployment, the connection between the passenger and instructor remains unchanged and completely secure. The entire system was specifically developed for tandem skydives, where participant safety is the highest priority. Therefore, you can fully enjoy the experience without worry, as the possibility of a passenger falling out of the tandem simply does not exist.
