Are there any weight, height, and age restrictions?
For tandem skydives, there are specific restrictions set by the equipment manufacturer, and these can vary depending on the location. The most important is the weight limit, generally between 95 and 100 kg. The exact limit depends on the equipment used for a particular jump, so detailed information is provided in the description of each skydive for the chosen location.
Restrictions also apply to height and age. At some locations, the minimum age is set at 16 years, while at others there are no strict age limits. For minors, written consent from parents or guardians is required. There is no upper age limit as long as the participant’s health is suitable for the jump. It is important that the participant feels well, has no serious heart issues, and no other medical conditions that could pose a risk.
Regarding height, the minimum requirement is usually between 135 and 140 cm so the harness can fit correctly. If a participant is shorter, the harness cannot be properly adjusted, which affects safety. There is no formal maximum height, since it correlates with body weight—for example, a person 220 cm tall almost never weighs less than 100 kg, so weight becomes the limiting factor. In all cases, the manufacturer’s guidelines are followed to ensure a safe jump.
Because restrictions can vary, it is best to check the conditions directly for each skydive in our offer. This way you will have precise information for the location you choose and know whether you meet the required conditions.
