The paragliding introduction course will take you out of your everyday routine and allow you to experience a real adventure. In a few steps, you will learn the basics of controlling the glider and feel the wind lifting you above beautiful hills and valleys. But it’s not just about flying – it’s about a complete connection with nature, that moment when time stops, and it's just you and the endless sky.

The course begins with a detailed theoretical explanation, where you will learn the basics of aerodynamics, safe flying, and the functioning of the glider. Then comes the most exciting part – preparing for your first flight! The initial flights take place on a small hill, where, under the careful supervision of instructors, you will experience what it's like to have the wind lift your glider and take you off the ground. This is an experience that will fill you with adrenaline and joy as you get to truly experience the freedom of flight.

Everything is taken care of during the course – from top-notch equipment to individual guidance that ensures you have a safe and enjoyable experience. The instructors will teach you, through practical exercises, how to properly prepare and manage the glider, control your speed and direction in the air, and how to land safely. All this will take place in a location with ideal conditions for beginners, at one of the agreed-upon sites in Prebold, Celje, or Šoštanj.

The Savinja region offers you beautiful views and picturesque landscapes that you will admire during your first flights. Green valleys, hills, and rivers winding through the landscape will be your backdrop while flying, making your experience even more special.

The paragliding introduction course is an excellent opportunity to escape from everyday worries and try something completely new. This adventure is not just an adrenaline-filled experience but also a chance to connect with nature and feel the incredible freedom that flying offers. With each flight, you’ll become more confident as you master the basics of free flight.

Minimum participant age: 16 years.
Normal physical fitness and health.
Not suitable for pregnant women.
Under 18 years of age only with parental or legal guardian consent.

Duration

The total duration of the introductory course is approximately 5 hours.

Weather

For safety reasons, flights in strong winds or storms must be interrupted or postponed (usually, a short wait until the storm passes).

Equipment and Clothing

Wear warm, comfortable/sports clothing and footwear (sneakers, running shoes, or hiking boots). If you have long hair, a hairband is also recommended.

Participants

The voucher is valid for 1 person. Spectators are welcome! You can watch the flight directly from the starting point.

How long will my tandem flight last?

At the agreed time, we meet at the designated meeting point where the preparation for the flight takes place. Then, we take you to the takeoff site, where the equipment is prepared, and final instructions are given before the flight. The duration of the flight depends on the location and the altitude difference at the takeoff site and is approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on thermal activity. You should plan for at least two hours in total.
