At Aerodium Logatec, we offer you the chance to experience the joy of free flight in one of the most modern wind tunnels. Our experiences are designed to be safe, fun, and accessible to everyone - from complete beginners to experienced fliers. Under the expert guidance of our instructors, you will learn the basics of flying, how to control your body in the air, and perhaps even perform some acrobatics. Aerodium Logatec is the perfect destination for family outings, team building, or simply to experience something new and exciting. Let yourself go and fly beyond your limits!

Do you remember your childhood dreams of flying like a bird? Now, it is truly possible to experience this in the AERODIUM Logatec wind tunnel. The air flow in the wind tunnel is so strong that it allows you to simply lie on it and fly without wings! By changing the position of your body, thanks to the principles of aerodynamics in the air flow, you can perform various flight elements and feel immense satisfaction. Flying in the wind tunnel is safe, and no prior experience is needed.

An instructor will be with you at all times in the wind tunnel, ensuring that you fly relaxed on the air flow, and together, you can soar up to heights of 9-10 meters above the ground!

3 × flight in the wind tunnel with an instructor (3 × 2 minutes).
Each flight lasts a total of 2 minutes, which is twice as long as the duration of freefall in a parachute jump from an airplane!
Preparation for flying, which you carry out together with our experts before the flight.
All necessary equipment that will ensure the best possible comfort and safety during the entire experience.

Duration

The total time with registration and preparation is approximately 30-60 minutes.

Weather

In the event of heavy rain or extremely cold weather, the wind tunnel does not operate.

Equipment and Clothing

Wear comfortable/sporty clothing and footwear (sneakers, running shoes, or hiking shoes). If you have long hair, a hair band is also recommended.

The maximum allowed weight is usually around 120 kg, and the minimum height about 120 cm so that the equipment fits properly. Children as young as 4 years old can fly, and there is generally no upper age limit as long as health conditions allow.

What about health conditions?

Flying in a wind tunnel is suitable for most people as it does not require special fitness. It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with serious heart conditions or major injuries, and participation is not allowed under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

How does your wind tunnel flight work?

A wind tunnel flight begins with preparation, where you receive equipment and instructions for correct body positions. Then you enter the tunnel, where a strong air stream creates the sensation of floating. The instructor is with you at all times, guiding you and ensuring safety. After the chosen minutes of flying, the experience ends smoothly, and you can also receive a video of your flight if you wish.

Can I also order a video recording of my flight in the wind tunnel?

In the Logatec wind tunnel, you can order a video recording after your flight. The camera follows you throughout the entire flight, and after the experience you can first watch the video and then decide whether to order it as a lasting memory.

Can I fly in a wind tunnel if I wear glasses or contact lenses?

Glasses and contact lenses are not an obstacle for flying in a wind tunnel. Before the flight you receive special protective goggles that fit over prescription glasses or contact lenses, so you will see clearly throughout the experience and have your eyes protected from the airflow.

What to wear for flying in a wind tunnel?

For flying in a wind tunnel, you will be given a jumpsuit, helmet, and protective goggles upon arrival. Under the jumpsuit, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothes such as a T-shirt and sports pants. Wear sneakers that fasten well, tie back long hair, and remove all jewelry and large accessories before the flight. This way, your experience will be comfortable and completely safe.
