Suggested routes have been prepared to make navigation and planning easier and to help you choose your route. This means that you have specific ideas available about where to go, while still being able to adapt the route to your wishes, the weather, the available time and your preferred style of driving.

This type of arrangement is ideal for everyone who wants more freedom than a guided tour provides. If you prefer a relaxed trip, you can choose a shorter and less demanding route with more stops. If you are more interested in exploration, you can select a longer route connecting several natural and cultural attractions. If your main priority is to enjoy the drive, the varied terrain and the feeling of freedom, you can plan the route so that the buggy experience itself remains at the forefront.

Suggested routes through the Notranjska region

To make planning easier, 8 different routes have been prepared, together offering more than 200 kilometres of trails through the Notranjska region. The routes are designed to show the different faces of the region: from shorter trips and scenic drives to longer exploratory routes connecting several attractions into one larger adventure. The suggestions include routes towards Lake Bloke, the River Iška, Mount Slivnica, the Sodražica Valley, Travna Gora, Križna Cave, Snežnik Castle, Lake Cerknica and Rakov Škocjan.

Each route has its own character. Some are more suitable for a short escape into nature, others for a scenic drive across plateaus, and others for exploring karst attractions and the more recognisable landmarks of the Notranjska region. The suggested routes are therefore primarily useful as inspiration: they help you choose a direction, plan your stops and make better use of the time available. However, you do not have to treat them as strictly defined routes, as the essence of the experience lies precisely in being able to adapt the adventure to your own preferences.

Among lakes, forests and karst attractions

The Notranjska region offers much more than it may appear at first glance. Lake Bloke is a popular place for a relaxing stop, Mount Slivnica offers panoramic views and a touch of local legends, while Lake Cerknica is one of Slovenia’s most recognisable natural features. On longer routes, you can also approach the area around Snežnik Castle, Križna Cave or Rakov Škocjan, where the Notranjska region reveals its more karstic, mysterious and picturesque character.

It is precisely the combination of driving and exploration that gives this experience its special value. The buggy allows you to travel through the region in a more immersive way, with greater contact with the surroundings and a stronger sense of the terrain. A buggy designed for off-road adventure

The vehicle used for the ride is a Polaris RZR 800 S, an American off-road buggy known for its stability, compact dimensions and performance on varied terrain. Its wide design, good ground clearance, automatic transmission and selectable drive options make it suitable for gravel roads, forest tracks and various unpaved sections. At the same time, the vehicle is easy enough to operate for the driver to quickly feel comfortable, while its off-road design ensures that the ride remains interesting even when the road turns into a real adventure.
